7 Marathons. 7 Days. One Incredible Cause.
The Cronulla Lions Club is proud to support Sarielle and Lions Assistance Dogs as part of an inspiring fundraising challenge that is changing lives across Australia.
From May 18–24, Sarielle will run 7 marathons in 7 days from Melbourne to Adelaide to raise awareness and vital funds for Lions Assistance Dogs — an organisation that trains and places Hearing Dogs, Medical Alert Dogs and Psychiatric Assistance Dogs with Australians in need.
These incredible dogs provide independence, confidence, safety and companionship to people living with hearing loss, medical conditions and PTSD. Every dollar raised helps expand the Lions Assistance Dogs National Training Centre, allowing more assistance dogs to be trained and placed with people who need them most.
Last Tuesday, our club had the privilege of welcoming Sarielle to share her story and the incredible impact these dogs are having in communities across the country. Inspired by her passion and dedication, Cronulla Lions proudly donated $2,000 to support the campaign.
