Serving Cronulla.
Supporting Australia.
Changing the World.
For more than 60 years, the Cronulla Lions Club has proudly served the Sutherland Shire and wider Australian community — living the global Lions motto: “We Serve.”
As part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organisation with over 1.4 million members in 200+ countries, our club is powered by passionate local volunteers committed to helping others, building community, and changing lives — one project at a time.
About lions
Our Mission
We exist to empower volunteers to serve with compassion, integrity, and impact.
Our work is guided by four core values:
Service: Putting community before self.
Integrity: Ensuring every dollar raised goes directly to those in need.
Compassion: Supporting vulnerable individuals and families with dignity.
Connection: Building a stronger, kinder community through teamwork and trust.
From local mental health initiatives to national disaster relief, the Cronulla Lions Club believes no act of service is too small — and that together, we can create lasting change.
Our Legacy of Service
Since our charter in 1965, the Cronulla Lions Club has been a cornerstone of generosity and leadership in the Shire. Our members have supported hospitals, families, youth, and community programs through countless hands-on initiatives.
Supporting Sutherland Hospital
2024: Donated a state-of-the-art Babyleo Humidicrib to the Special Care Nursery — replacing an earlier model also provided by our club.
2017: Funded recliner chairs for the maternity ward, improving comfort for new mothers.
Ongoing: Continued support for hospital equipment, upgrades, and patient wellbeing projects.
The Lions Eye Clinic – Sydney Children’s Hospital
In 2005, the Cronulla Lions Club pledged $1.1 million to establish a world-class Lions Eye Clinic at Sydney Children’s Hospital — one of our most significant achievements.
Largely funded through our signature Seafeast Charity Luncheon, the clinic continues to provide life-changing eye care and research for children across NSW.
