1966 - 2026

2025

Building on decades of community service, 2025 was a year of growth, planning and continued impact. The Club strengthened its partnerships with organisations including Orana, Need for Feed, CaringKids, and St George Mental Health, while continuing to support POPPY Playgroup, local families, youth initiatives and healthcare projects. Planning also commenced for the Club's 60th Anniversary celebrations, alongside the redevelopment of the Club's website and a renewed focus on improving community engagement through digital platforms and social media.

2024

Throughout 2024, Cronulla Lions continued its commitment to supporting healthcare, families and community wellbeing through a range of impactful initiatives. A significant milestone was the donation of a Babyleo TN500 Humidicrib to the Special Care Nursery at Sutherland Hospital, helping provide vital care for newborns requiring specialist support. The Club also continued funding the St George Mental Health Cooking Program, supported POPPY Playgroup, delivered CaringKids Joy Boxes to children in hospital, assisted Need for Feed in supporting drought-affected farming communities, contributed to local women's shelters and family support services, and remained committed to improving the lives of vulnerable members of the community through practical service and fundraising.

2023 – 2022

Throughout 2023 and 2022, Cronulla Lions continued supporting local charities, healthcare initiatives, youth programs and community welfare. Members remained actively involved in fundraising events, volunteer service and strengthening partnerships across the Sutherland Shire, ensuring assistance reached those who needed it most.

2021 – 2020

Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Club adapted its fundraising and community service efforts to continue supporting vulnerable individuals and families. Members remained committed to providing practical assistance while maintaining the Club's long-standing tradition of service.

2019 – 2018

The Club continued expanding its community impact through annual fundraising events, healthcare initiatives, youth programs and local partnerships. These years reinforced Cronulla Lions' reputation as a trusted community organisation committed to making a lasting difference.

2017

One of the Club's major healthcare contributions was the donation of recliner chairs to the Maternity Ward at Sutherland Hospital, improving comfort for new mothers and their families. The Club also continued supporting a range of local health and community initiatives.

2016

Cronulla Lions proudly celebrated its 50th Anniversary, marking five decades of dedicated service to the Sutherland Shire. Members reflected on the Club's achievements while continuing to deliver meaningful projects that benefited the local community.

2015 – 2006

Throughout this period, the Club continued building on its strong tradition of community service by supporting local charities, healthcare initiatives, youth programs and families in need. Members remained actively involved in fundraising events, volunteer projects and partnerships that strengthened the Club's impact across the Sutherland Shire. In 2006, the Club celebrated 40 years of service, recognising four decades of volunteerism and community leadership.

2005

Cronulla Lions made one of the most significant commitments in its history by pledging $1.1 million towards the establishment of the Lions Eye Clinic at Sydney Children's Hospital. This landmark contribution continues to provide life-changing eye care for children from across Australia.

2004 – 2000

As the new millennium began, the Club maintained its commitment to community service through ongoing fundraising, volunteer work and support for local organisations. These years strengthened the foundations for many of the long-running projects that continue today.

1999 – 1990

Throughout the 1990s, Cronulla Lions expanded its community reach through health initiatives, youth development programs, disaster assistance and fundraising activities. Consistent volunteer service helped cement the Club's reputation as one of the Sutherland Shire's leading service organisations.

During its first decade of service, Cronulla Lions established itself as a respected community organisation. Following its charter, the Cronulla Lions Club quickly became an active part of the local community.
